Leder House Cottage is the definition of the true cottage experience. 3-bedroom cozy cottage, back deck looking onto East Lake, campfire pit, and guaranteed sounds of frogs and loons, make you feel like you’re staying at a cottage in the 90’s – a simpler time. The wifi isn’t great, making you focus on watching the lake, or reading that book you’ve been meaning to read all year. Access to kayaks and canoe, campfire pit, and pass to Sandbanks Provincial Park (only a ten minute drive).
What is included:
• Kitchen is well outfitted with appliances; microwave toaster, pots and pans, dishes, dish towels and cloths, drip and Keurig coffee makers, etc.
• Bedrooms have comforters and pillows with shams.
• Private fire pit with wood included.
• 4 kayaks and 1 canoe that you are welcome to borrow at your own risk. Lifejackets in all sizes available as well.
• Boat launch available on property (if the water is high enough). If not, or your boat is large, there is another free boat launch five minutes down the road.
• Large dock and small sand beach with gradual drop-off for littles.
• A day pass to Sandbanks Provincial Park.
• Covered front entrance and waterfront deck. Propane BBQ and patio furniture and picnic table available for use.
Other things to note:
• There is parking available for 2 cars.
• $1,400 per week (Saturday to Saturday) in the Summer. 2-night minimum in the Spring and Fall at $225 per night.
• Check-in is 2 pm and check-out 10 am.
We live on the same property and have 2 dogs and a cat, who have the run of the property. They are very friendly! Due to this, we ask that you please reach out to us before bringing any pets.
